Join artist and qualified teacher Elizabeth Evans and flower farmer Sara from The Flower Meadow for a joyful, nature-inspired creative workshop in the heart of West Wales.
The session begins with a guided bouquet-making activity led by Sara, who will help you create your own hand-tied arrangement using the freshest seasonal flowers grown on her sustainable flower farm. From vibrant sunflowers and cosmos to delicate dahlias, each bouquet will be a unique expression of the season.
Afterwards, Elizabeth will gently guide you through the process of sketching and painting your bouquet using watercolours. You’ll explore simple techniques like observational drawing, colour mixing, and loose, expressive brushwork. No experience is necessary – whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking for a creative pause, this is a welcoming and supportive space to enjoy art and flowers at your own pace.
We’ll also take a break for tea and cake during the session, a chance to relax, chat, and soak in the creative atmosphere.
You’ll leave with your own handmade summer bouquet and a unique watercolour piece to either give as a gift, or to display in your home and treasure for years to come.
